Hi and thanks for visiting Austin's Ride For CF. Here you will find info on the ride and what CF is. Also you will come to know all about Austin and his family.

Hi, this is my biography so you have a good idea of who’s responsible for this site. My name is Austin and my mom Susan is doing this for me, I’m going to be 6 in Feb. Things that I like to do are play with my big brothers Alex and Justin and bug them too. I like to ride broom brooms with my Dad. At my ride I got my first snowmobile from one of are sponsors Brion and Georgieanna Svenson, owners of Four Star Limousine. Wow I sure had a great time ridding my mini-z. I play with my toy snowmobile but I think ridding a broom brooms take over . I asked my mom and dad if I could hit the jump with my snowmobile at the wotercross races this year. I'm going to ask Scott from the EWA if I can. I still like the movie Cars and I drive my Mom and Dad crazy. I have just about every one of the cars from the movie Mac the 18wheeler is my favorite one. This year I got a chest PT vest to help me with the thick, sticky mucus. I have to wear the vest every day for 20 min.

This year brings about the sixth annual Austin’s Snowmobile Ride. This exciting 35-mile ride through Colebrook, NH is not only scenic and enjoyable for participants, but the funds raised go directly toward research for drugs to combat cystic fibrosis. Austin's Ride is quickly becoming a must-ride for all snowmobilers!Riders participating in Austin’s Ride For CF will be treated to a fantastic ride, a great BBQ lunch provided by the Colebrook Ski bees, a goodie bag, and a silent auction with lots of great items! It’s also an opportunity to win prizes, make new friends and impact the lives of thousands of individuals battling this devastating disease. Another exciting part of the ride is that out-of-state registered sleds can ride the course with a waived NH registration fee! The success of this ride lies within the hands of sponsors, participants and in the dedication of the family that began this event. On February 29, 2004 the Wanner family was blessed with a new son, Austin. Two weeks later the doctors told them that Austin had tested positive for CF. Their belief that a cure will be found through research funded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is what prompts so many to provide their support to this cause.

Austin's Snowmobile Ride - Because of the great feedback we received from last years snowmobile ride we have decided to hold the fith annual Austin's Snowmobile Ride on February 21, 2009. This exciting 30-mile ride through Colebrook, NH is not only scenic and enjoyable for participants, but the funds raised go directly toward research for drugs to combat cystic fibrosis (CF). After a day of riding participants are treated to a BBQ at the Colebook Country Club, where they also have an opportunity to bid on unique items at a silent auction. For those of you that aren't sure what CF is, it's a life threatening genetic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults. A child must inherit two CF genes, one from each parent, to have the disease. More than 10 million Americans are symptomless carriers of the defective CF gene. Today it's our son Austin; tomorrow it could be your son, daughter or grandchildren, you just don't know. Please help us fine a cure for CF. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation pursues multiple strategies to cure this complex disease. CF scientific advances happen because of your support. You can also feel safe participating since the Foundation was once again recognized by Smart Money Magazine as one of the most efficient health charities in the U.S with ninety cents of every dollar raised going directly to CF research! Last year we raised just over 10,000.00 for research. With your help I know we will raised more in 2009.

Thank you for your interest!
